The Story of Bluff Library
Freedom to Read Inc. and a generous local donor first started working on the library in Bluff in 2014. At this time, the previous library had been abandoned for several years. All books, computers and furniture had to be discarded.
Over the next few years, community members and Freedom to Read Inc. volunteers worked together to build shelves, paint walls and renovate the space. In 2017, the library started serving patrons on a regular basis. Currently, we have 2,898 books in the collection. About 80 local residents are library patrons. On any given day, about 30 of the books are in circulation in the community. Bluff Public Library is supervised by Katherine Neely. Bluff Public Library Hours |
